Hello friends. It is with unqualified jubilation that we introduce season two of abracadabra❢ with issue five. Over the course of the next year(ish 🐌) we’ll continue our tradition of sharing quarterly periodicals abundant with the fruits of the finest craftsfolks, mystics, and visionaries on our radar. We intend to bless your mailboxes with something that reminds you of the mystery and wonder all around us, and to nurture our inner alchemists by reminding ourselves of the power we possess to speak creation into being 𓂃 ོ☼𓂃
Issue five is a structural callback to our very first issue, serving up reflections on appetite, aromatic rites, and even a prayer for Judee Sill. The nine-page folded zine was printed via two-color risograph here in Chicago with help from our pals at Secco Studio and support from the ~Real~ ones at Broda. Featuring contributions from a blessed collection of wizards including Se Young Au, Shea Anthony, Mikki Itzigsohn, Anna Lucia, Cocaine Rodeo, Laura Weiler, and Jason P. Woodbury. Limited to 300 copies.
