Izzy and Maddy from abracadabra! here with another missive leading up to the launch of issue two of abracadabra!b ~ The Spiritual Cookbook. First of all, we want to extend our hearts full of love to all of you who have subscribed to the physical magazine, and/or this newsletter. Thank you more please for being with us 𖦹
Second, we want to apologize for the delay to those of you who can’t wait for our second issue. As we mentioned at the start, we are doing this for fun and for the love of the ride, and we are subject to the extra delays and setbacks that come with being scrappy and letting the process take the time it takes. We appreciate your patience as we eagerly work to get these issues in your mailboxes, hopefully (🤞) late this month / early December. Think of it as an early holiday gift from us to you. A major shoutout is in order to our dear friend Evan at Rathaus Press, who is so generously printing and assembling this issue for us, and who got unexpectedly roped into jury duty just as we were ready to print.
Our beloved pal Janna Lyhus made this stunning collage for this issue, though another piece wound up in the final magazine to accommodate the single color risograph printing. We loved this piece so much we wanted to share it with you here.
